Randi Walker

Randi graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology.   She has served children of all ages, while working as a school based SLP, as well as providing contract services in private therapy clinics and in-home settings.  

 

She has received training in PECS, AAC LAMP Words for Life, Social Thinking by Michelle Garcia Winner, Kaufman Apraxia techniques, Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC), Gestalt Language Development, Natural Language Acquisition and Nanci Bell Visualizing and Verbalizing. She has experience treating children with a variety of speech, language and pragmatic deficits including:  articulation/phonological disorder, expressive and receptive language delays, fluency/stuttering, apraxia of speech, reading/written language, and implementation of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices.

Randi's passion for helping children learn to communicate started when her own son was diagnosed with a language disorder. Her desire to help her son led to her going back to school and earning her degree. She is passionate about her profession and is always learning and growing to ensure high quality services to her clients and their families.  Randi is happily married with three children and lives in NW Arkansas. She enjoys spending time with her family, running, hiking, boating, and eating pizza!
