Speech Therapy For Expressive Language Disorders

Walker's Tiny Talkers Specializes In Speech Therapy for Expressive Language Disorder

With Expressive Language Disorder, the child has difficulty verbalizing or communicating their message.  Symptoms include:

  • Using gestures instead of words to indicate a need or want

  • Incomplete sentences or thoughts

  • Limited vocabulary.

Treatment approaches include modeling and exposing the child to language through play, games, books and other activities.  Components of language are taught and then practiced.
