Cassandra Watts

Licensed Speech Language Pathologist

M.S. CCC SLP 

Cassandra graduated in 2008 from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK with her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. She has served children of all ages through private practice facilities, schools, and Teletherapy service in Northwest Arkansas.

 

She has training in Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), LAMP Words for Life, and Lindamood-Bell LIPS. She has experience with treating children with various speech/language and pragmatic deficits including: receptive/expressive language delays, articulation disorder, fluency/stuttering, apraxia of speech, pragmatics/social skills impairment, oral-motor impairment, and implementation of Augmentative and Alternative Communication Devices.

 

Cassandra’s interest for the field developed in High School after shadowing a Speech-Language Pathologist for a class project and then even more after receiving speech therapy herself for a Tongue Thrust. She is passionate about helping her clients improve their overall communication skills for use in daily life activities.

 

Cassandra currently lives in NWA with her husband, two children, and one cat. She enjoys spending time with family, traveling, watching movies, camping/kayaking, and eating ice cream!
